Flow 5.0
Flow 5.0 is a new interactive sculpture made out of hundreds of ventilators which interact with your sound and motion. Commissioned by TodaysArt 2007 this sculpture intervenes with the existing architecture of the Cityhall in the Hague. By walking and interacting illusive landscapes of transparencies and artificial winds are created. Moving through Flow 5.0 the visitor becomes conscious of himself as a body, in a dynamic relation with space and technology.
Artist Daan Roosegaarde describes: “The use of technology is a strong element of our identity. Flow 5.0 is a futuristic exploration in this embedment of technology with our body and daily environment.” You are more than welcome to come and interact with Flow 5.0 at TodaysArt, September 21-22 at Cityhall in the Hague, NL.
Studio Roosegaarde is Daan Roosegaarde (creative director), Peter de Man (partner in software), Axis Stuifmeel (partner in technology), Marnix Rijnart (electronics) and Mark van Meerkerk & Johan Otten (production).
