From Yukihiko Yoshida: Avant-garde-like “Super-flat”, Web 2.0 media dance performance tool in Archidemo by Gekitora Gackt from “inetdance Japan”. Gekitora intends “Dance-performance that can be appreciated from any angle 360 degrees”, and does various experiments in Archidemo.

Gekitora choreographs both dancers and avatars. It is fantastic experience for him to choreograph avatars, because artist can share only pure movement of motion with many users in Internet. Now, A series of four dances can be tested with the dance-pad. A free body expression act is done in the weightless space. “It’s another installment of Entropist, a sci-fi culture column by futurist design maven Geoff Manaugh, author of BLDG BLOG. The British branch of Penguin Books recently premiered a new website called - a bit lamely - We Tell Stories. The basic idea is that six authors will tell six stories over a period of six weeks. More interesting, however, is the fact that story #1, “The 21 Steps” by Charles Cumming, was told using Google Maps. So combine this same strategy with today’s urban sci-fi, add a few more cities - and you’ve got a way to map science fiction across the planet. Could there someday be a Google Maps of Sci-Fi? The Chronovisor is a machine for viewing past and future events. It was invented in the ’40s by Father Pellegrino Ernetti together with a group of twelve world famous scientists. The Chronovisor was portrayed as a large cabinet with a normal cathode ray tube for viewing the received events and a series of buttons, levers, and other controls for selecting the time and the location to be viewed.
