Special accessories allow players in Darkgame to act using only one sense: seeing, hearing or touching – constraints that can represent both advantages and drawbacks. By manipulating the scope of sensory immersion and multiplayer interaction, Darkgame is carefully designed to accommodate sighted and hearing players as well as deaf and/or blind players in the same virtual game world.  Through accessible yet balanced game design, Darkgame  challenges and experiments with the commercially established range of computer game genres.
