Live Stage: A Day In The Life [mk Skopje + online]

Upgrade! Skopje presents: ДЕН ОД ЖИВОТОТ - UM DIA NA VIDA - A DAY IN A LIFE - EIN TAG IM LEBEN [streaming performance] :: July 19, 2008; 2:00 - 4:00 pm :: CARMA Caffe, near Universall Hall, Skopje.

A Day In The Life begun as a multimedia project, initiated by Upgrade! Munich on the theme of Munich’s 850th birthday. The project A Day In The Life locates the global in the local. The peculiarities and characteristics of each location are contrasted with those typical and atypical to other locations, other cities, other countries, coalescing their similarities and differences into a poetic fusion. Enabled by the growing power of the Internet - all locations are networked together via broadband technology. The media interventions and happenings will take place in 5 different locations: Munich, Skopje, Curitiba, Brisbane. On each location different artists will perform which will be broadcasted on all the rest locations.

DITL performance engages several participants: Horst Konietzny from Munich, Suzon fucks, James Cunningham, Helen Jamieson from Brisbane, Boris Petrovski, Elena Veljanovska and Jelena Trajkovska from Skopje, Claudia Kappenberg and Amy Baihaus from London, Katia Horn, Stephany Mattano and Octavio Camargo from Curitiba.

Curators of the A Day In The Life: Horst Konietzny and Tamiko Thiel
