Third Coast Festival Conference [us Evanston, IL]

nametagssmall_000.gifThe Third Coast Festival Conference is an annual gathering for audio producers and documentarians that convenes in Chicago each Fall. This is an opportunity for producers to come together, listen to each other’s work and share ideas and expertise. The three-day conference features listening sessions and panel discussions about topics ranging from the practical to the philosophical and culminates with an awards ceremony honoring the winners of the TCF / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition.

The 2008 TCF Conference will be held October 9th - 11th, at the Hotel Orrington in Evanston, IL (just north of Chicago.) The hotel rate will be $139 single/double and the conference registration rate will be $285 by the earlybird deadline, $335 by the late deadline. Stay tuned for much more information coming later this year, or email us with any questions in the meantime: info [at] thirdcoastfestival.org

The 2007 TCF Conference was held November 1-3 in Chicago. You can listen to the sessions, see pictures and read about presenters who took the stage at this year’s conference, including Jay Allison, Sean Cole, Peter Leonhard Braun and the dynamic duo of Ann Heppermann and Kara Oehler.
